This Limited Edition collector plate is commemorating the Centennial (1883-1983) of MODERN WOODSMEN of AMERICA, a Fraternal Life Insurance Society. The artist is Paul N. Norton. Various scenes are shown on the front of the plate: a main street parade; two boys fishing along banks of a river with a paddle-wheel steamship in the background; a flag raising ceremony conducted by a youth group; a Thanksgiving celebration; a crowd listening to a speaker; MWA Headquarters; and the last scene appears to be a factory. This limited edition plate is numbered 629 of only 1300 plates produced. There is no maker mark of who produced this plate. The plate is in excellent condition with no chips, flea-bites, cracks, crazing or repairs. There is no COA (not sure a Certificate of Authenticity was ever issued for this plate) or box included with this plate. Plate holder is not included.
