This is 7 ounces, 200 grams of Bancha from the mountains of Nara. It was cut this season. It contains little to no caffeine. I help process it my self. This is a very reasonable price. If you buy 2 the shipping would be 6$, buy 3, 8 $ and on and on. If you buy it with something else I will calculate the shipping. I only charge actual shipping costs. In Japan it is often served to children. Ban cha is steam processed. Steaming leaves most of the amino acids and "good" stuff intact. It is low in tannins and acidity. Ban cha is the second cutting of tea. Because of this the leaves are coarser and there are some stalks in the mix. Japanese green tea contains the following components: Theanine, Catechins (polyphenols), Flavonoids, Vitamins C, B1, B2, Niacin, Caffeine, Amino Acids Hot tea brewing method: When preparing by the cup, this tea can be used 2 times. It is best to use water that is about 200’ or 90’C. Place 1-1 1/2 teaspoons of leaves per person in a teapot and let the tea steep for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Do not remove the leaves from the pot. Iced tea brewing method: Place 6 teaspoons of tea into a teapot or heat resistant pitcher. Pour 1 1/4 cups of boiled water over the tea. Steep for 5 minutes. Fill a serving pitcher with ice. Pour the tea into the serving pitcher, straining the leaves. Thank you
