Vintage Hosiery and Mending Kit. Real Silk Hosiery Mills, Inc. Very narrow and rare kit. Great graphic on the front. Likely 40s. Has the match sticks with gooey stuff that was placed on a silk hose run. Has some silk thread and needle. This is an old piece of advertising. Measures about one third width of a matchbook. In rather nice condition considering it's age. Have to be very grateful for today's pantyhose. Silk stockings were expensive in those days and women did all they could to repair what hosiery they owned. But what a great advertising item for that day, something a gal could put in her purse in case she snagged that stocking held by a garter! We do not ship outside the U.S.
