On the top ( where you see the picture ) it is recessed 1/8 of an inch. The top itself is 5/8", inside of top is 1/4" containing 12 triangular razor sharp teeth.

The second part is the bottom grinding section once again 5/8", inside is 1/4" & containing 16 triangular razor sharp teeth. 10 ovals and 6 triangles for your contents to fall through the flip side of a 1/4"

Piece 3 is 3/4" tall. 3/8" to the pollen catcher ( screen top ),where it will catch whatever spices / herbs you have inserted,. then the fall through is another 3/8".

Piece 4 is the base & resevoir which unscrews to empty the pollen dust, OR use it as a sprinkler for the ground cinnamon on french toast, flour sifter, confectioners sugar / extra fine sugar. Even has a storage / stash catch all area!!

Also great for your thick cuts of Zig-Zag / Top / & Gambler, etc. Cigarette tobacco in the pouch or bag tobacco from your local tobacco shop.
