This Offering is for an interesting 1932 Budweiser Los Angeles USA Olympic Team Pin.  The pin measures 1 3/4 x 1 1/8 inches and is pretty good shape.  The pin on back is straight and has the holder in place.  The colors are good with no chips and a nice patina overall..
Are you ready for this???  When I first saw the pin I thought it was an interesting find.  Then I wondered if Budweiser really did sponsor the US olympic team in the 1932 Olympic games.  Then it struck me that Prohibition may have been in effect around that time.  Sure enough, Prohibition ended Dec. 8, 1933.  On back it says 36 USC 380 and below HO HO NVC.  It could be NYC.  Under all this, in the lightest fine lettering there it was.  "CHINA"  I had took several times with a magnifying glass to read the type.
I suppose this was either a novelty item or perhaps an actual attempt to pass the pin off as the Real McCoy.  I wonder if the manufacturer was aware of Prohibition.  Who knows?  I do believe this is rather a unique item and has it's place in a collection.  One of a kind I doubt, but surely one of few.
