Phoenix Arizona's legendary deejays, Mary McCann, known as the Bone Mama. The Bone Mama name is synonymous with music in her home state of AZ. She's an award-winning host of music and talk radio shows spanning 20 years. She's produced the longest running series of live recordings of Arizona Music, "The Studio Zone" and produced 5 separate compilation albums of AZ Music. Bone is an award winning poet and educator, listed on the AZ Arts Council artist roster in two categories. She's written and starred in 3 theatrical presentations staged at Scottsdale and Chandler Centers for the Arts. Along with starting and successfully running her own promotion and concert production business she's trained teams of poets for national competition and taught at risk kids how to perform poetry. Mary does a lot of public charity work and it involved with the local music scene in Phoenix. *She chooses to use the "bone doodle" symbol she has come to love as a center point.
