Handpainted Kiva Gourd with ladder and Native American cave paintings.
Beautifully decorated, this unique handpainted gourd was crafted and painted by hand in Montana. Inside is a handcrafted wooden ladder and a colorful blanket. It measures approximately 6 inches across by 4 inches high.
This very attractive piece of folk art comes with a handwritten information card.
NATURES NATIVE CREATIONS
'Native Americans use a hole in the ground for a place for secret meetings, plus many other things. They made a ladder to get in and out of the Kiva. They could build a fire or maybe hide to make sure no one bothered their sacred ground. The cave paintings I copied from pictures I have seen. They had many beliefs and the Earth & the Heavens were all sacred & they gave it all their blessings. They drank when they found water and ate when they found food or killed deer. Nothing was wasted.
