This record has been in my family for years. Labeled "Victrola-Victor Talking Machine-Stille-Nacht, Heilige Nacht(Silent Night, Holy Night), it is sung in German by contralto Ernestine Schumann-Heink with orchestra. It's numbered 88138 and is a one-side only record. My grandparents used to play this and similar records on a wind-up Victrola machine. I don't know if it's considered a 78 speed, but that's what I'm guessing. Although it looks good, it hasn't been used in over 50 years......and I have no place to "test" it, but I would assume it will play. Included is a paper sleeve.
