. It is a age old tradition to nail a horse shoe with the pointed ends up, to hold in good luck. We have decorated our horse shoes with care so they will blend with many decors, and would be a focal point on any wall. With one of Froggy’s portable good luck charms you can even take your “luck” with you when you move. This horseshoe would be a welcome addition to any nursery and would make a perfect baby shower gift for any Mommy-to-Be. We started with a used horseshoe straight from the farrier, cleaned it up, and painted it jade (front and back). We added a hanging strap of entwined jade & watermelon yarn and decorated the horseshoe with "mommy-to-be" foam stickers. There is a felt arrow pointing down to a Baby on Board sign, a sticker with Labor of Love and 3 dangling hearts, Pickle Anyone?, Ultra Sound, and Nine Months buttons, and a Mommy-to-Be sign. The main colors are jade, pale orange, and shades of pink. The horseshoe measures apprx 5" x 5" and weighs apprx 8 oz.. It hangs flat against the wall, about 8" from the tip of the yarn strap to the bottom of the horseshoe, and about 9" to the bottom of the dangling hearts.
