We started with a used horseshoe straight from the farrier, cleaned it up, and painted it silver (front and back). We added a shiny silver hanging strap and decorated the horseshoe with vacation stickers. There is an open map with "Family Vacaion" on it, a packed suitcase, a blue van, a silver camera, two postcards, and a sign repeating the words "are we there yet". The main colors are silver, black, and white. The horseshoe measures apprx 5" x 5" and weighs apprx 9 oz.. It hangs flat against the wall, about 7.5" from the tip of the silver strap to the bottom of the horseshoe.
