We have decorated our horse shoes with care so they will blend with many decors, and would be a focal point on any wall. We started with a used horseshoe straight from the farrier, cleaned it up, and painted it watermelon pink (front and back). We added a hanging strap of pink and green entwined yarn and decorated the horseshoe with "mommy to be" stickers. There are the letters p-r-e-g-n-a-n-t, Due Date, I've Been Kicked, Beautiful Mom, and Always Close To My Heart. The main colors are watermelon pink and jade green . The horseshoe measures apprx 5" x 5" and weighs apprx 8 oz.. It hangs flat against the wall, about 8" from the tip of the yarn strap to the bottom of the horseshoe.
