Here is a great Homer Laughlin Best China line Oval Platter.  Measures about 11 inches from outside rim to outside rim (lengthwise).  To start or expand your collection.  Not sure of the pattern name.  Has a dark yellow gold (not metallic) pattern.  Very pretty- very very useful.  This is the restaurant wear line of Homer Laughlin- so it will definately hold up to your daily use. 
Has a glaze imperfection on the front (see gold spot in white area) and a chip UNDER the glaze on the back (from manufacture, since it is under the heavy glaze).  No chips, cracks, or crazing.  Email for close ups.
