The theme is a tumbling block/star motif on a black background with youthful prints scrapped throughout (notice how it plays with the eyes - a perfect theme that a child/youth will never tire of, even as they grow older!) Notice the purple batik border!!! Professionally longarm quilted with a fun, rambling detail picked out in variagated thread [This was done by a my favorite folks at a high quality quilt store in Indianapolis (Quilts Plus) Oct. 2007.] All natural cotton batting. The backing is fantastic!!! It is a deep purple minky - so soft, plush, and snuggly! I simply can not resist minky for a quilt backing- no matter the age.
