This is a lovely, vintage rayon multiuse scarf - hood. I think this is probably from the late 1950's or early 1960's. The tan colored scarf - hood measures 56" long and 18" wide. The approximately 20" hood is created by sewing the long open edges together at the front; then this leaves about 18" at each end. The green and off-white paper the scarf is folded into is marked Japan at the lower right. The scarf has a small sewn in label ALL RAYON / JAPAN / RN 3988. The scarf has never been used. There is no damage. The plastic bag appears to be original and has a small hole from removal of a price sticker.
